carlsbad caverns I BELIEVE SO.

i went to carlsbad caverns and it was really awesome.

seriously. talk about amazing and beautiful and humbling and breathtaking and every other word you can think of for formations that are millions of years old and some are still actively forming and changing. you keep going down and down and down. i got the distinct feeling i was descending into the underworld. the lighting in the caves didn't help. it was eerie and everything was shadows.

the titles are snippets from "down here" by black rebel motorcycle club. i think it's pretty appropriate.
